Sorry, don't know how I managed to put the eagle in twice instead of the flowers!

Since you put the eagle in twice I officially appoint one to be Ma and one Pa, even though it is the same eagle.

Nightowl, Carolyn, and Karen,
Thanks for all the pretty pics of flowers and trees. I love the picture of Ma Saxe and Pa Saxe lol!
We have a white flowering tree in our area that is a very full tree covered in flowers. It is a non-fruit bearing pear tree. I am like you NIghtowl, I know the names of a few plants and flowers, and have to look most names up. If they are in latin, well, I just give the plant my own name. We have lots of "pretty pink flower" and such......
Nightowl, I have also had the same problem about getting pictures to my computer from my phone. What I do is send the picture to myself from my iphone in an email as an attachment, or copy and paste to an email to self. If I had a Mac there would be no problem, but I refuse to convert!!!

Hey Karen! :hello:
The Olympic Mountains sure are purty! I'm slightly geographally challenged, but are they in Washington state? If they are, you must live close to the border of Canada and the U.S. Lucky you to have the best of both worlds!
I get most of the pictures from icanhascheezburger.com. There's sub titles to check out different sites there. Some are cats, some are dogs, food, puns, celebrities, etc. Then there are some that make no sense to me at all.
Has anyone seen this yet? http://www.allaboutbirds.org/page.aspx? ... &ac=ac It's a Red-Tailed Hawk's nest in Ithaca, New York at Cornell University. The camera is awesome! Unfortunately, we don't have a thread and we can't post scaps yet til we get their permission.

Nightowl, I do live close to the border of Canada and the US! The Olympics are in Washington State, 47 km from the southern coast of Vancouver Island and fairly easy to photograph on a clear day with my camera if I use my zoom lens. I can see them from my deck of my house, one of the reasons why I bought this house. My big fear is if my neighbour sells his house to a developer who decides to build a highrise obscuring my view of the mountan!
Thanks for the links!
