Good morning friends. Wow the hollow has really been quiet the last couple of days. Guess everyone is as busy as I am and no one has had the time to post. I'll be meeting the friend from high school and collage in a couple of hours. Since I haven't seen her since then, I wonder if I will even recognize herOh the shame She doesn't have a picture posted on FB or on our class website. She can see mine on both, so hopefully she will recognize meIt Wasn't Me We are going to Ruby Tuesday for lunch. I sure do hope this rain lets up a tad before then. It sprinkled all day yesterday, then last night it poured and even woke me up with a downpour and thunder, so I had to come unplug the computer. We just had another really hard rain a few minutes ago. But we need it so bad to hopefully get rid of some of this pollen. I bet everything will bloom out now. It's been really hot here, but today is much cooler since it is so wet.

Diane, I love your Florida pictures. I know you are getting excited about your trip coming up. Wish I could meet you down there. Cute pictures of Jackson.

Thundering again. IF it gets worse I'll have to get off the computer.

Bev, I can't believe you are so hot. Maybe some of the rain will head your way and cool you off too.

Jean, I hope you get a good report on Xel-Ha today.

Cecelia you are almost there.

Donna, good to see you here. Glad you are having some good weather and able to get out to walk and work in the yard.

Thunder is getting closer. I do want to post my lilac Pride of Mobile Azaleas. I went out in the mist yesterday morning to take them before the rain knocks off the blooms.

Click on image to download I took this from the sidewalk. See the brighter pink dot on the far left side with tree behind it. See next picture

Click on image to download These blooms are growing out of the same limb. The bright ones is the dot from the picture above.I had never noticed this on here before.

Have a great day everyone-mentioned or not.

Good Morning Diane and Sara. It has been busy with so many hatchlings all at once. Looks like we may only have 2 at Davenport, but you never know for sure there is still another day or two before it looks hopeless.

I too love the Fl pics and the flowers in the south are beautiful. We are seeing plants pushing up with all the warm weather we are having. THe roses and trees are budding. Our weather is staying in the 70's through next week and that is really unusual for the end of March.

Sara hope your visit with your college classmate is fun. For some reason I thought you had done that last week.

Jean I hope that Xel-Ha is getting better. Elsie and Einstein are sure busy with those two. I check in several times a day but have not time to post right now. Davenport, Richmond and FSV keep me way too busy. Looks like Judy H is hooked on Richmond and is a great contributer. So that makes it more fun and easier. Several are posting now at Richmond. IT is a great nest.

We brought a dresser home from Laura's on Saturday. I had given it to her 11 yrs ago and they don't need it any more so I took it back. Pete is working on the drawers so they slide better. It is an old piece of furniture that was made in Butte, MOnt.

I went second hand store shopping yesterday and found clothes for all the kids so if I need them here I have them. They have outgrown what I had. So then I sell what I had to the second hand store. So I am set for summer.

Bev that is hot for so far north. This weather is really strange.

Barb I am missing you here.
I am off now later

Just another quick fly in. So busy I just don't have time for anything! Here's the report I posed at the Ozarks this morning. Spent all my free time sitting, bitting nails, and praying our chicks were alright.

We had a big scare last night. Some severe rains and severe winds stirred up at the nest. They were so strong they nearly blew Elsie out of the nest. She went tipsy turvy. Thumper thought he saw one of the chicks blown out of the nest and went out and searched the nest area as well as the roost tree area. No chick! I had a video rolling so I went through it frame by frame. My observations were that the E's had been feeding from the side of the nest and I decided it was food that had blown out and not a chick. It was a restless night for all of us, but our fears were erased this morning when we saw Elsie feeding and both bobbleheads were bobbing up and down!
Now were are waiting to see Einstein arrive at the nest this morning... safe and sound with food!
Another rainy day and then hopefully the weather will be kinder for our family by the weekend!

We took Xel-Ha to the vets yesterday morning and there was a slight improvement. Charles decided that we should do the series of laser treatments just to make sure we are doing everything we can for his back issues. We started those yesterday. He got the first one while we were there. Then I had to bring him back in the afternoon for a second one. This morning he had his 3rd treatment and I'll be leaving soon for his 4th treatment. Next week he gets one a day for 3 days and then the same the following week. Pray that this helps as they are costly! They will probably keep him on meds and maybe go in from time to time for a laser treatment or two. If this helps, then it's worth the time and money! With all the running back and forth I am doing, keeping up with my nests is about all I have time for. I will be plopping in as I can. Hopefully things will settle down quickly. Good to see Donna, Bev, Sara, and Diane here. Thinking of all of you!

Wonderful surprise for you Jean. That is going to be one busy nest. Chance is a great name too.

Busy day here...75 degrees and plenty to do here and at the nests. FSV is a mystery...day 38 and no chick. We will just have to wait.

DIL and I are going shopping tomorrow and that will be fun as we seldom have a chance to chat as we come and go.

The third egg at Davenport hatched early this morning. It is really strong and cute.

Good night Sitting eaglelovers. Sleep tight.

The 3rd chick was a suprise to all of us. And a mighty nice surprise at that!
Since we can't see into the nest, all we can do is take a guess at what's happening by Elsie and Einsteins actions. We knew we had 2 eggs, but never thought there could be 3 there. What fun!
