Hmmmmm.....White Rock mom still sitting quietly on nest in the dark now....lots of fluffy new nest material around her. I am really wondering if today was the big day for an egg laid Chin

You will all have to keep me up to date as I will not have access to a computer tomorrow until the evening:ds:

Off to bed for now....nite sleepy

Hi All!

Yes, Cecelia, Mom White Rock laid an egg today. The link to that Discussion Thread is under Hancock Wildlife Discussion Threads. It is easy to find. Since I am posting this cannot pull over the link but if you have troubles give me a holler and I will post it.

Good Morning Friends!:hello:

Looks like I'm the first one here today.

Glad you liked my Confederate Jasmine bush and bee, Cecilia. It is now past it's blooming peak, but certainly one of my favorite bushes in our yard.... could be because the flowers are yellow and that's my favorite color!

Donna guess you are busy with the littles as well as watching for hatchings and eggs at your nests you watch. Still not sure about the Ozarks. I wish we could see into the nest and then we would know for sure what is going on there. Elsie is doing a lot of fussing with the eggs, or a chick, but I still haven't seen Stein coming in with fish yet. He did bring Elsie a nice size bird that she enjoyed yesterday morning!

Bev, miss you here. Hope you are enjoying the family and the boys while they are on break!! Are you doing anything special or going places with them??

Sara, I agree that going to Columbia might have been more restful than cleaning house and preparing foods! giggle Good thing we didn't go, as we did get rains and t-storms! I don't like traveling I-20 in rain. Tomorrow is supposed to be hot and sunny!

Hi Carolyn, Barbara, Cherie, Velma and the rest of you Screechers..... Breakfast time and then I need to get ready for a fun day of Mahjongg. Have a great day all!
Here's two pictures of our Camelias.

Jean it has been busy with the children. Fun but busy. Then watching the 3 nests I don't have much time. Papa likes some time too. So time here may be minimal. Loved the flowers this morning.

I looked in on E and E and could not tell but many are watching at rrp and hoping today they can sense something.

Peace good to hear from you.

Sara nice pics. Wow winning team in bowling.

I have been watching all morning at Richmond hoping for a pip or hatch. Dad has not given us one good view all morning.

waveGood afternoon, friends!

Had a good rehearsal last night, then fun at Chili's with friends afterwards. We stayed a bit later than usual and I still had to go by Wal-Mart on the way home, so it made for a very late night!Phew Even though I got to bed very late, I did sleep well. Have had better sleep lately.Very Happy Found out last night that our favorite waiter at Chili's, who waits on us every week, is moving to Austin, Texas at the end of the month!:cry1: We are so sad to see him go - Chili's won't be the same without him!

It has been cloudy/sunny here for the past 2 days, so didn't know if we would get the promised rain or not. Of course, it decided to hit just as I was leaving for rehearsal last night - complete with thunder and lightning!!!Oh My But, by the time we got out, it was about done and is warm and sunny today.Grin

Bev, so happy to hear about the start of Phoebe's next clutch!Clapping Hope you are having a good week with the boys!

Sara, glad you are enjoying bowling. Hopefully, your team will hold on to 1st place.Grin Hope you were able to fix your shower leak!

Jean, glad you didn't have to drive in all the rain yesterday! Your flowers are beautiful - I especially love camellias! So sorry to hear the news about McGee and the owl Egg HatchEgg Hatch. Hope Molly will be OK! Have fun at Mahjongg today - at least we know you will be able to come home, win or lose!giggle

Carolyn, glad you got much-needed rain, but glad it won't be constant for the next few days. Maybe you can duck out for walks in between the showers.Titter

Donna, sounds like you are keeping busy watching for Egg HatchEgg Hatch! I know you are not ignoring Papa though!giggle Was he able to find an acceptable towel bar for the BR?

Diane, the last update on Lindsay was wonderful - hope she continues to get stronger and stronger! Will continue praying for Ron!

Have a pleasant day, everyone!

hug

Good afternoon. Just a quick plop before I go to serve dinner at church. I have officially delcared winter is over at my house. I took the electric blanket off the bed-left it handy just in case-and changed the flannel sheets for cotton ones. It has been such a mild winter, I think I only ran the furnace 6 or 7 days total in the bedroom part of my house. It was run some in the old part with the living areas and my office, but really not too much there. I leave the one downstairs set on 50* just so if it gets too cold down there it will come one and I don't have to remember to cut it on in case of a freeze. That wasn't even a threat. Of course 19 years ago we still had 2 feet + of snow on the ground from the blizzard. Today we are over 80 and no change in sight. Love this weather except for the pollen. My car stays covred and my nose stays stuffy. But the temps are great.

Barbara, glad you are sleeping again. When is the concert you are practicing for? Sorry about the server moving. We did hold on to first place in bowling by 1 point after last week's games. We'll see where we go from there.

Jean, hope you won at Mahjongg today. Guess you will stay home instead of going home win or loose. It Wasn't Me You camelias are beautiful.

Donna, I know you are really busy with grands and nests.

Bev, hope you are enjoying the boys spring break. Our school has it next week.

Someone asked about the shower. It is fixed and not drippingCheers:cheerguy:

Gotta git. We are serving Chicken pot pie, fried okra, corn pudding, slaw for the adults and chicken nuggets, mac and cheese, fruit and cookie for the kids. We also have a huge salad/soup bar. The lady in charge of our kitchen is great. Everything she fixes is "from scratch" and delicious. Once in a while she gets in a bind and tells me to help with last minute stuff in the kitchen, so I try to go a tad early. I have taken the training where I can go "behind the yellow line" since I have worked in there so much with the pancake breakfast for scouts over the years. I'm sure that certification has expired, but she teaches it, so all she would need to do if health dept showed up would be to write up my card agian. That doesn't happen much, but I do go back to get refills sometimes also if we are getting low on the line.

See ya'll later.
