{{{{{{{{Nesties}}}}}}}}} Hello Wub spent the day working through the sadness and proving to my broken heart that we can carry on by covering my NCTC. I use to post on baby's thread and have for a long time but I just can't go back. Sad I don't know how the others can with him still laying there, just thinking about it makes me cry again

thanks for the thoughts to those of us who loved baby deeply and thanks for the great posts today. I can't comment on one without doing them all so I'm leaving it at that. Have to save up for tomorrow.

The ape has left and won't be back till a week from Monday!! woooooohoooooooo to that! (mostly, kinda Laugh)

have a great night all and big mantles to all still sad or not well hug sleepy

I would rather spend my life close to the birds than wishing I had wings

Sitting eagle Spent all afternoon at Lafarge documenting and "As the nest turns" Norfolk pa and his #3 DT has not returned to the nest since yesterday when her and pa scrapped with the #4 female intruder that has been harrassing DT and pa Locking talons.....she has been fighting with pa and DT for her right to be his misses this season 2012. My opinion they have the same markings on their heads except #4 is a little more than #3 DT so they might be from the same hatch as the mods say they are both about the same age except #4 is a really big female.
Poor pa sat on the nest all day hoping #3 DT would return but all he got was headaches from #4 who repeatedly came onto the nest and pa had to chase her away more than once. All I can say she is determined to get pa and get rid of #3 DT thats for sure.
A few scapes taken from the nest this afternoon by me

Judy, excellent capture of the big mammy-jammy Titter I missed every time she was around today but read about it. It's so astonishing to me that Female #3 has not been seen since yesterday morning; she was no shrinking violet herself Laugh Very puzzling for sure Puzzled Nodding

Quick check-in..........Hope all are on the mend tonight after the tuff day yesterday. Headed for DFW in about an hour for a late night pick-up. Kasey was going to do it for me but ended up going with Colin to Balmorhea State Park at the foothills of the Davis Mts. in West Texas to instruct a dive class. Mike & i went with him once @ New Year's & scuba'd in the natural springs of the desert. It was awesome; not many people there in the winter. We also visited Carlsbad Caverns which was beyond grand.

Judy, that's how I'll always have Lil Bits in my mind. Such a sweet pic.

Linda, pretty words and the beautiful photo.

Jean, I love those closeups of Ma Decorah. Reach out and touch those beautiful feathers.

Dede, what a look on Dad's face at the NBG. What a soap opera. Painful for some of the players, but oh so interesting.

Doreen, Hello

Elle, so sad, heartbreaking, every time I read about those whale hunts(executions)

Judy, thanks for the WR EFix.
Thanks for the link to see the talon marks.

Tweets, I like your eagle. You'll do an excellent job painting him.

Lori, I took a peek at the poor little one still in the nest, and it is heartbreaking. Cry
BFF going to be gone for quite a while.

Dede, thanks for you scaps too of Norfolk.
Yup, Decorah will be "yawn" until the bobbles come bobbling along.

Annie, love to see Mumbrellas. So touching to see them protecting the eggs and then when the little ones once they arrive.

Naoma, nice video of Belmorhea State Park. Beautiful waters.

Scott, oops, forgot to say good morning, but now I shall say goodnight. happy
