SJ Judy is back at home; exhausted and resting now ....as always Judy kicked some serious butt today and the bestest news is......another chemo treatment bits the dust ....
Chemo #3 is History now that is reason to celebrate yep yep yep .

SJ hope you kick back and relax today infact have many many "jammy days" till you get rid of the post chemo side effects yep yep yep Sending you all our love and lots of hugarros too.

Boy do I feel good -it is not only Friday but I have MON and TUE off!! Thatfeels soooo great!

Sounds like everyone has been through some rough times again.

Glad SJ that number 2 is history. Lay back relax and issue orders for everyone else to entertain you for the weekend.

Debs I have not read the post that talks about you going to emerg, but I am sorry to hear you have some rough times. Getfeeling better ok?. It is weekend time!!!

DIANE I know how you feel when a let doesnt make it. I often still think of Echo. It is a lonely feeling. Those eagles brave so much to raise these little ones, they must surely feel the loss too!,

Debs for the update on Judy. She has been in my thoughts all day and it is good to hear that she is home and resting after a very stressful day. I hope your "drugs" are helping you feel better, too!

Good evening Nesters

I've been out most of the day; went for early brekkie then went to the museum with 2 of my sisters to see the Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibit and then for a late lunch. What a treat; I think there are a few future National Geographic photographers in the juvenile group Many very creative photos as well as gorgeous birds and animals featured in the photos. It took a long time to go through all of the photos because my sisters were both interested in the equipment that was used by the photographers and asked me quite a few questions, which I answered as best I could

I forgot to mention that the results of the X-rays on my hand showed osteoarthritis in the 2 joints of my thumb on my left hand; at the base of my thumb and at my wrist. My doctor suggested trying a cream called Voltaren Emulgel and it does work. It doesn't take away all the pain but makes it bearable. I don't want to start taking pain and anti-inflammatory medications so I'll keep using it on a regular basis.

Debs thanks for the update on sj/Judy. Sending her hugs and hope she doen't suffer too much with the after effects of the chemo treatment Hope you are feeling better and your meds are working

Evening Nesters

Man on man it has been a long day luckily it is winding down now We had another egg at the Pelican Harbor nest so they have two eggs now. Our NCTC nest had another intrusion....the 4th this year. Belle and Smitty prevailed again and we are on hatch patrol there. We all pray that this family goes the rest of the season without any conflict or harm to the family.

Bev Thanks abunch for the pansies and gw wishes I am feeling bit better each day. I know how much you for Lil too...you reported at that nest as much as I did.....he was such a strong warrior was hard to see him lose him to hypothermia when he had just survived sibling rivalry was sooo sad...sending you big too. Aww thanks it is my pleasure to keep everyone updated on our dear Judy

Ma Great to see you perched; you are so welcome; yep I have turned the corner feel better today than last 2 weeks altogether Hope you are still feeling well too sending you some big polar bear hugaroos too

Vicki Nice to see you perched ; thanks I am on the mend finally ...bad infection but on some kick butt meds so hope to have turned the corner now. Judy actually had her third chemo today Give Munch a big from all of us here.

John Please walk a wee bit for me too....k.....I hope to be back atter soon I miss my workouts. Thanks...I feel like I am in snail mode but everyday I feel better yep yep yep.

Diana Thanks the antibiotics are helping slowly I am drinking lots of hot water with lemons seems to help my sinus too. It has been a sad season already...we have lost three babies I decided today this is my last season reporting at all these nests ...its become too stressful I need to go back to just enjoying the birds without all the responsiblity here. We always had so much fun counting sticks here and just sharing our observations here ...man how it is has evolved and changed in 7 seasons. Thanks for the second cup I really needed something stronger was thinking I should promote myself to scotch or something YUCK so I had a lemon tea instead on the rocks and it was sooo good. Sorry you have to work this weekend hope it flies by my friend

I hope you and the Dew are not feeding all those firemen you feed just one man and before you know it every man in town will be on your doorstep looking for a meal Who started that rumor anyway Anyway hope you and the Dew are enjoying a nice quiet weekend with zero stress yep yep yep

Lonette Loved your cards/captures for Judy and I know she will love them too...you must have got some time away from all those bored meetings this week Thanks; the fever has gone so that is big improvement now just need to get rid of my big head Loved the capture of Ma at the Osprey nest sending some big ole your way too.

Kay Well I wish there were more people like that fellow ...I think what he did to help the eagles is commendable . So glad to hear your son is improving....sinus infections and tonsilitis can turn into a life threatening event yet so many people do not realize that. You are so blessed to be able to visit all those nests ...I wish I was surrounded with eagle nests...I would never be home I would be gone everyday. My closest nest is 2 hours south or 3 hours north. I hope to head up to the NWT within the next 3 weeks or so and go spot the nest there...I am anxious to see if they nest early this year. Hope your other sons are on the mend too you must have been running on adrenalin all the activity in your life these last couple of weeks sending you a super size hugaroo too. ETA Sorry to hear about your osteoarthritis inyour thumb; hope the cream helps you for many years to come.
