1005 to 1020 am
Mom did a good job of teasing us
she was up off the egg cup area wings open
and even looked like she may be trying to push
an egg out....even does a shuggle but it was a false alarm
we still only have one visible egg.

1025 am
Mom is waiting at the 1 oclock porch for Dad to bring her
breakfast or lunch....needs fuel.

1030 am
Mom is still standing up near 1 oclock looking
at the goings on outside of the nest.

Continues to have her wings open while
trying to cool herself.





in and out

11 am
Mom continues to cool herself and the egg.
No sign of Dad since earlier this morning he is likely
looking for a nice meal for Mom.

11 to 1148 am
Beautiful Mom cooling self and her
egg.

1155 am
Dad is back and is on duty; he too is standing
off the egg wings open cooling himself and the
egg.

It is a warm balmy day on the island.
28 C at Ventura which is close to Santa
Cruz...no wonder our birds are warm today.

110 pm
The egg is still being cooled; feels like 75 F there today
very sunny warm with very little breeze.



1230 pm

Congrats to K26 & K10 on their second egg and to all the Aunties in the waiting room


155 pm
Mom is back on duty.

157 pm
Mom is up off the egg now and she appears to
be thinking perhaps about egg laying; she has that
twinkle.

Mom appears to be working on egg number two
she is up off the egg cup and squatting; beak open
abit and we can see she is pushing.

158 pm
More pushing and I think we will see egg number
two when she repositions.

201 pm
Mom repositions and we see her second egg, Mom rolls
the second egg and gives us a pretty good view of both eggs.

Yay... Debs... I just checked in from the road...must have been sensing something. Can't wait to see ur scaps of the blesses event.
