Thanks Karen, Laurie, Anna, Bev, Elle, Starr, and Scott, I'm on cloud 9 for sure. I have not heard back from Sarah yet, so I'm not sure which of the two photos won. I also do not know what I have won, it is usually gift certificates that equal around $500. I will find out tomorrow or tonight is Sarah call later. When I came home from being down on the rivers today and saw a message, I never dreamed that was what it would be. And as she stated I was the winner of the Alton Eagle photo contest My heart jumped with joy. I have been trying for the past 6 years.
Elle, Have fun tonight, I loved your photos over at the Sidney chat area. I look forward to seeing your video/videos my friend.
Scott, Yes you are right vacuuming once a month should give a vacuum cleaner a long life. I'm glad you caught up on your sleep last night my friend.
Starr, Lovely photos from today's broadcast.
I'm off to edit photos, see you all later. I did see one of the Alton Nest Eagles up close and personal across the slough on the road side it was fishing.
These are the two eagle photos I submitted. My thoughts it is the immature perched in the cliffs on the snag tree. I will find out tomorrow.

Thanks Jean and Kathy
Jean it sounds like you had BUSY day my friend. Get some rest this evening.
Kathy, I really worked hard this winter to try to catch a photo that know one else was around for. I think it payed off my friend.

Lori, I figured you would not pay for the same thing twice. My mechanic told me my problem was the sensor in the gas tank indicating there is not enough pressure building up. I will get it replaced one of these days when I have a spare $500 laying around. Great that there was no charge to fix Tiny up! Good luck with Rheumy guy today. OK, I won't request any songs from the Spinners.
Scott, well, if you won't talk to me about hockey now, you certainly won't want to when the Hawks beat the Canucks in the playoffs this year and Luongo is labelled a failure yet again! I don't normally check your spelling but that was too good to pass up! We all had a great day skiing yesterday. I managed to stay warm even in my red dress that Anna captured on camera. That is a lot of paws in the scap of Jewel and her brood. See, if you don't sign up to post something daily, no one notices when you are not here.
Judy H (urdognu - that must be swahili for something interesting ), welcome to the loony bin. No reservations are ever necessary here. Actually we prefer if you aren't reserved! If you have any problems on our nest, talk to our branch manager Lori (Yalitldevl). I am still checking to see if I am lively and/or spunky. Holy Moly, I just may be! And Anna keeps telling me I'm a fun guy....or maybe she means a funghi?
Tweets, did we tease you? I thought we tormented, harrangued, impeded, annoyed, or harrassed you, but I don't remember ever teasing you. Your hats look fantastic!
Linda, no wonder my ears have been burning! Cool video with the Leopard. Nice pic and sentiments about Stacy. And she is even more beautiful in person that she appears in the photos, if that is even possible. Sisky is a nice looking boy. Nice shot of the Cardinals at your feeder. I never would have noticed the Tit if you hadn't pointed it out. I must be losing my touch... I saw a Red Winged Blackbird today, heard a Cardinal and saw 2 Robins in the yard Monday (pics to follow later). Guess the migrators think spring is coming here. Congratulations on the big win!!! There is no point in me taking any pictures this year in the Smoky Mountains - can't compete with an internationally known photographer now! Vacuum once a month?? You have to do it that often???
Judy, hope you kick that cold in the buttocks soon. You should be on the couch, not hiding behind it!
Laurie, neat shot of the Blue Jay! Love the MA and PA Pine Grove greeting too.
Nanc, we all had a great time skiiing yesterday. Conditions were really good. It was windy and cold but we kept warm with hot chocolate breaks. We got to the hill at 9:30 am and got our tickets. Sandy and Adam wanted to go across the hill to another lift (not the one with the webcam). By the time I remembered the time, it was 10:10 am and we were way over on the far side of the resort and no where near the webcam site. So I did not get to wave at everyone. Sorry if you were all watching for me. I blame it all on Sandy and Adam. But I see Anna captured me beautifully coming down the hill by myself! That was classic - she is one talented lady for doing stuff like that.
Elle, thanks for the update on Yardley and Panda. They both know where their bread is buttered! Great to see the pics of PA at Pat Bay.
Anna, 10 am your time meant I was still sawing logs. zzzzzzz I did wear my red ski jacket. Sorry you could not wave back at me but you don't want to corrupt Brigitte! Cool vid of the nictitating membrane and speedy fly by at the Decorah nest.
Kathy, great that you are still upright and kicking. Laying down and kicking is OK too. Laying down and not kicking is cause for concern! Dont' work too hard and just try to think about the soothing Algonquin trails and/or getting mugged by a Moose (unless Air Canada won't get you here due to their striking unions that are now, apparently, just days away from walking out. ) Great pics of the squirrely one trying to act like a dog and not tip mom off.
Rose, I need a dog like that! Wonder if it knows how to vacuum too? Nice avatar. Another John Bonham in the making there. Sandy and I noticed the almost full moon last night when we were coming back from the ski resort.
Sue, very uplifting to read your post! You go girl! Great that Steve is getting you out to soak up some Vitamin D.
Annie, that is one way to get out of ketchup! But you can only use that once. Oh heck, you can use it more than once as we will forget you already used that excuse. Wonderful sunset shots. Don't worry about mistakes - I only check for them on Scott's posts!
Jean, yup, that was me (or a reasonable facsimile!) Eileen was a great substitute for you at the show today. But we missed you. She did say you had to twist her neck to get her to come to the show. We thought she meant twist her arm...but now I see you really are going to wring her neck!
Dede, Sue being the Cardinal Whisperer.
Naoma, I don't MOW on Tuesday, just Wednesday and Friday! Scott was missing??
