3.45 Dad is trying to get the egg down into the bowl... but... I am wondering if this is just a shallow bowl. You can see the tip of the egg just under his chest.

WOW ... a huge gust of wind nearly blows K10 out of the nest... well, not really, but he was a hanging on for dear life.

Mom's coat feathers are being brushed and
lifted by the wind at times.

Going to be a windy night at the nest
and we can see the wind has already picked
up.

Gusts of up to 40 to 55 mph are expected for the
Channel Islands.

Dad turn to incubate now.

Dad hunkers down in the nest to shield
self from the wind but we could see the wind
caught his back coat feathers and nearly flipped
him forward (which we have see before at PH)

So far he is staying grounded.
