DT and dad just mated, will she still permit a mating if she has an egg already forming??? Does anyone know about this? Thanks

Judy, they mate all the time as it's a bonding display and a renewal of their pairing, but further I have seen mating right up to the laying. Surprising huh? David told me that the frequency steps up during breeding but they're at it all year long Titter and of course it goes without saying that the matings we 'see' are a miniscule percentage of what they're actually up to elsewhere

Lori... Thank you for the information. That is surprising for sure. So, I guess they are like human's bonding/making love all year round (well, for some human couples that is). hehe.

I was not sure if this was/is an appropriate place to ask a question. I was wondering if there a question/answer section on the Hancock forum somewhere. I looked but did not find.
