Raven dive bombing Dad now at the TH
nest. Dad is calling, thrilling and trumpeting he
is some mad.


Dad is going wild calling thrilling opening his wings
and finally he got up off the eggs and attempted to
attack the raven...just outside of our view.

1235 pm
Dad is still upset but has resumed incubating.
Can hear Mom responding to Dad's calls but no visual of
Mom yet.

1240 pm
Loud traffic sounds heard perhaps a helicopter in the area.

Dad K81 in defensive position to shield and protect the eggs

The raven made several fly-bys at the nest and finally
Dad had enough and got up and went over to the area of 3 oclock
on our screen and appeared to attack or lunge at the raven
not sure he connected or not as our view was limited.

Dad K81 keeps calling for Mom ....maybe he wants a switcharoo.
There is lag time between the sound and what we see on the cam
I think as Dad's beak opens then we hear the call abit later.

Can hear Mom K82 responding to Dad's calls so she must
be close.



Wray is incubating at West End right now.
She has been up and repositioned herself now facing
towards our 12 oclock when you look at the cam screen.

Dad is still incubating at TH and he continues
to chat with Mom K82 who is outside of our view
but she sounds close.

Wray continues to incubate at the WE nest; here
is a cature of the wide angle view.

The intrusion or ravens continue to annoy Dad he is really upset
again calling out.

Then the cam switches from close up to wide angle view and we can
now see both both Mom and Dad in defensive mode.

Dad was flappin is wings abit and it looked like he may have slipped
back into the egg cup area; I sure hope the eggs were not damaged
he looked like he stumbled back onto the eggs.

Both Mom and Dad are trumpeting thrilling calling out loudly.

Oooooh now the nest is empty no sign of Mom or Dad missed their departure
on scaps.

Then one returns Dad I think K81 and resumes incubating man that was scaree to see
the nest empty like that...the ravens like to steal eggs as we know.

I sure hope the eggs are okay.

Dad stumbles back into the egg cup area while defending the nest and
quickly jumps up and out of the egg cup area again.....poor Dad...potential
damage to the eggs.

Adult Dad I think is much more relaxed now; continues to
incubate the eggs so lets hope both eggs are fine.





At the West End nest; one incubates the eggs and one is on
watch from the pins
