There has not been a third egg laid here as of 5:58 pm. Dad took a long stretch of incubating this morning. They have been rolling the eggs about every hour.

9:15 Sunny moring temps to be in the low 50's today.

Things have sure been quiet today. It is day 6 since the first egg, so it may be 2 for the year.

Hi Barb. Thanks for the update.

A sunny day here. The cam is off line right now some kind of ustream check. The eagles have done a switch while the cam was down according to the chat.

Sweet picture of mom and dad before cam went off line. He did not stay long, but checked in.

Dr. Watts will be answering questions about eagle communication and other topics at 2 est.

It is nice and sunny today. Dad gave mom a 2 hour break this morning. Mom has been doing a bit of nestorating and digging around in the bedding.

It is a sunny day here but snow expected tomorrow.

6:50 Dad incubating

10:06 to 10:57 Mom is on the nest and rolling the eggs. She has the bedding pulled up snugly around her. She is rearranging things around her and shifting positions regularly.

Snow predicted today.

Dad has been on the nest since 6:50. He has called several times but mom is not ready to come home yet.

10:44 Dad is up and he rolls the eggs, rocks back down and settles.

10:51 Dad calls and mom lands on the fence at 7. He exits and she sits there for a minute or so. Then she moves to the nest bowl and rolls the eggs and settles to incubate.


12:02 It is beginning to snow. It may be sleeting a bit also. Mom is settled and the eggs are tucked under.
