Castor....I love the picture of the juvie with it's wings spread out!! I have no idea what that awful looking dead animal is. I saw it the night before when it still had meat and skin...YUCK!!

There were a lot of smaller birds running around but no eagles seen. It was snowing quite hard and the piles of food were covered up.

I was watching last night and when I went to post the s'caps, HWF was unavailable. The first two are from last night.
A hawk and it's mate were each on separate piles of food. I missed getting pics showing both of them. This one hung around for quite a while and was getting lots to eat.
The Hooded Crows like to tug on the hawks tail feathers too so the hawk was keeping it's eye on this one.



At least 6 eagles in the area when I turned on the cam tonight.

:hello: Scott! Nice scap of the hawk! I don't think I saw it although I did see at least four of the eagles before I went to bed. In fact I got to see a lot of action but the brain and the fingers were too tired to capture much of it. I found myself watching instead of clicking on keys. I think the forum lost it's power because Richard Pitt lost his electricity last night during a storm per JudyB on facebook.

This young juvie was the first eagle to appear.....



And it was very hungry.
