Rainy day in coastal Maine, and the cam is still having issues, so it goes to black from time to time. I think sound is back on when the picture is actually streaming.

Sherri from the Maine forum caught a visit on Wednesday, January 25 - this is her s'cap:


And here's a picture of the nest today, showing how the rain is quickly removing the snow from the area.

This is one of those nests where we don't know what might happen. They have a nice, snug-looking nest - but we don't often see anyone there.

And they're visiting this morning, and moving some sticks!

I was away from my desk after my previous post, returned at 11:35 to find both of them in the nest.





They were standing there, looking around, no longer working with sticks.

Only a quick glimpse of one today - realized the cam had frozen so refreshed - and found an eagle in the nest. Cam still freezing, so refreshed again - and it was gone.

One of the eagles arrived at the nest at 11:12, and has been there sitting there looking around. The cam is freezing regularly, making it a bit hard to see all that happens, but each time I've refreshed it, I've seen casual looking around for a few seconds before it freezes again.

The cam is still a bit choppy and freezes from time to time - but one of the eagles is hard at work this morning.
