7:20 am - and still dark. I forget how late the sun is rising in BC these days. I'm at the eastern end of my time zone, so sunrise is a little after 7 am where I am - but nearly 8 am at the nest. Just beginning to see a little light in the sky - enough to tell that it looks a bit windy again today.

7:51 am
An Eagle sized bird flew right to left against the sky!
8:30 am
That was definitely an eagle - going behind and possibly up to the top of the tree
8:39 am
And again - from the top and to the lower left of the tree
8:40 am
A beautiful fly in towards the cam - landing above 'Wild Earth'

Good Morning! I am excited to see this cam is on again.
Thank you.
I have seen a lot of big birds flying about this morning. Just saw one fly by the cam. Did not look like an adult eagle more like a juvi or another bird altogether.
8:42a ~ Just saw an adult soar into the tree. Beautiful. It just did it again and landed cuz the cam shook.
Anyway..I could be wrong about this but this looks like an adult sitting on a limb.

Thanks for the reports, Pat - I thought I saw some large flying objects, but was busy with other things and never got a good look!
And nice to see you here, cococat! That does look like an eagle head - but it's hard to be sure when everything is rocking and rolling like today. Definitely an area to watch!
11:39 am
I've been seeing a few more flying objects - do think they're in the area, though they haven't really put in an appearance.

Eagle in the nest!

Still not sure which one - but he or she was carrying something, either food or nesting material.
I think we may want to ask Ken to aim the camera a little lower - though perhaps we should wait for a less windy day to decide.
I think it may be food - eagle is reaching down as if breaking off pieces of something, and was definitely a dangling something, not a stick.
