4:20PM Mom has a yummy snack

About 5:30PM Dad was working on the nest bowl and calling out.

Teamwork

There was one hourlong visit just by Mom to the nest today. It was cold, snowy and windy so I guess Dad was holed up in a warm roost somewhere.

She showed up at about 1:30 nest time with a bunch of new nest fluff. She doesn't seem to like snow in her nest.

After just sitting in the nest for a while she went out to her favorite branch just to sit and look things over. She didn't stay long.

The eagles weren't in the nest too much today. They were there at about 3PM for most of the hour. They moved a few sticks, placed a huge piece of lumber that Mom brought in, and dug quite a trench right in the middle of the nest.

If Mom doesn't like snow in the nest, she won't be very happy tomorrow. They're predicting 6-10 inches of snow on Friday and Saturday.

Always nice to see all of the pictures that everyone posts here. It's nice to see what I miss during the day.
