Thanks Judy hug Ma & Pa certainly are a beloved pair of eagles to many, many people; they were the first pair whose eaglets we watched on the live cam. We'll just have to keep our fingers crossed that we might watch them again someday.

Ian and I went looking for Ma and Pa this afternoon. It took about 2 hours before they finally showed up at the beach which gave us lots of time to walk and beachcomb and enjoy the lovely sunny calm weather. Both nests are intact; after the very high winds we've had the last few nights I was wondering if they would still be in one piece. They are. And again testimony to the workmanship of the nest in that old dead tree. It defies reason.
Will be back with pix and videos.

Hi Elle Hello

It's funny....I had a feeling with the first really nice day that we've had in quite awhile, that you and Ian or even Kay would venture down to Pat Bay to check up on our dear Ma and Pa today Left thumb up

So glad to hear both nests are still intact! I thought for sure the old nest, or the dead tree itself would have toppled for sure with all the winds we had lately. Looking forward to your pics Elle and IanSmile
