Hello On this lovely sunny day we totally expected to see more than one eagle, especially with the tide going out but at Davis Bay and Chasters the only sighting we spied was one of our Stalashen adults in the nest. Sitting eagle Usually they are above or beside the nest but this time she was in the nest, looking nicely plump. Third picture was taken from the beach as she was difficult to see from many angles. Laugh We were there about 2:25.

Sandra, glad that you and David got down to the Stalashen nest today, great pictures as usual thank youClappingRight thumb up.

Around 10:30a.m. I was walking around our garden when suddenly I saw an eagle heading towards our house - it flew right over me and headed up to the trees at the top of our road.Grin I later saw 2 mature eagles flying in that area. We also saw more eagles during the afternoon flying around out over the water our end of Davis Bay. I guess they were up at this end today. You'll have to give us your cell #.

Sandra, great pics of the Stalashen eagle. I like the one of it peeking down over the edge of the nest Right thumb up

Marg, wouldn't it be wonderful if a new pair of eagles decided to build a nest in one of the trees at the top of your roadCheers

Kay, and other interested readers of this thread, I am posting this so that you can see our area - wilderness starts at the top of our road - who knows maybe there's a nest there but Earl thinks it may be too far for the eagles to go for water. Don't Know We have walked through this area (there are trails) but you encounter bears and other wildlife deer, coyotes, cougars etc. We haven't been on a walk through there for several years.

Marg, lovely pics of the Stalashen eagle. Their nest looks quite substantial!

This is the area of the Stalashen nest and I was impressed with the decorations there as a lot of the neighbours hung decorations on bushes at the edge of their property. I walked up from the beach past the nest tree and along the road for a walk.Video Camera click on picture please.
