Jill, hoping that there chicken soup sent by Diana helps you as it certainly helped me - sure looks yummy Diana.

THis upper respiratory infection is taking its sweet time going away! Ya know, I've got a job and things to do for Christmas? ............................

Which reminds me. I received a link to The North Pole!! Yup, Mrs. Claus' recipes for many many things....cakes, pies, candy, bread, fudge........There are a bunch under each category, many of which I had never seen before!! So.....do ya want the link? Do you think you've been good this year?.........Oh, OK Nightowl, I can hear ya already yelling "Get on with it!!!

Thanks for the link to your poem, Carolyn! You do have a way with words. I have yet to find out what my talent is yet...if I even have one!

Jill, thanks for the link to Mrs. Claus' kitchen. I bookmarked it so I can go back and drool over the recipes. (baking is NOT a talent I possess, but I love to eat! ) Who knows? I might get brave and venture into the kitchen for more than a glass of tea and try a recipe or two. I'll have to dust off the stove first. That is the thing that gets hot when you turn the knobs, isn't it?

Hope you feel better soon! Now is not the time to be sick...too much to do!

Good Morning!

Nightowl, your talent is making other people laugh every time they encounter your joy. I am so glad I met you.

My writing started here on the forum and I can think of no reason for it to have happened. I always made up silly songs and poems but never wrote them down. At first it was just in Screech Hollow, but then I got brave and put one or two around and no one bit me so got braver. It's a sit down and type and there it is kind of thing so it amazes me.

Jill, pretty cold now in your neck of Texas? You also always make me smile so thanks! (In fact, if I see your avatar the smile starts)

Well, I'm feeling a little better today, so I am hopeful this virus is almost over! My husband now has come down with it, sooooooooooo we are just a couple of fun loving folks at our hacienda right now!!

Talent? You do have a wonderful and wicked sense of humor and are great at writing. I could see you writing for television or performing stand-up. You crack me up all the time!!
