So sad to hear that our chicks are getting further away from the nest.I too hope they will come back to visit us a couple more times! I am not ready to see them go!
Enjoying the 80* today. Tomorrow should be the same. I'll change the date now. See y'all in the morning before we head out to Christmas shop. Maybe Tracy will post more pictures of the chicks on the neighbors roofs!

camera has been re-aimed now, something is going on cause they've been outside and keep looking around the wall where the car is parked

8:02 a.m. Owlette on pillar by itself..likely Timka (wish I could see better) Good scaps everyone(I was out for awhile) Glad to see someone is still hanging around

9:00 a.m. Timka (I think) still hanging out on the pillar wall.
We have high winds tonight(Power keeps getting knocked out) Sure hope it'll stay on.

9:49 a.m. So far so good...Timka still on the pillar giving a few wing stretches and just looking over garden

Looks like Timka is still on the pillar this morning. Hopefully both he and Merlin will be around for a few more days! Guess we need to brace ourselves for when they have soared on to explore the world before them!

Thanks for the great coverage Alice and Lori! I'm sitting in our hotel room right now having breakfast by my netbook. In a couple hours we will be shopping till we drop. I won't be back till very late this evening to check on our chicks as we are going to hear "Legends in Concert" at Broadway on the Beach!

They just had a really hard downpour and little Timka snuggled in the corner of the planter for some protection from the rain. I'm sure he was hoping that Merlin was snuggled close to him!
