TIMELINE:
2009 - Two eggs were laid. Both failed to hatch.
2010 - Nest fell apart. The eagles did not nest this year.
2011 - Two eggs were laid. Once again both failed to hatch.

See what I found!




I thought I saw something white on the very windy WA cam - and I was right



I think this is the first time an eagle has been observed visiting the nest, though jewill has seen them in the tree (and got some lovely s'caps!).

I'm so glad someone got a scap of one of them in the nest...congrats and thanks to JudyB. I'm guessing it's Ma just based on the neck size because Pa's is long and slender whereas Ma's is shorter.
The next time I'm out there on Wednesday I'm going to make a point of taking a good long look especially in the late afternoon when I'm leaving as that's when she was spotted today.

I had video running tonight while out with my granddaughter and there was an eagle on the nest for over 20 minutes. I just got a quick revideo of the last few minutes on the nest. So exciting!!!
