Dad flew in with something black and furry and left it on the nest near the big branch..


When I first saw that thing arrive my first thought is that it's a small teddy bear ---- Nooooooo -- what would be the chance of that happening again ?? It's definitely not a food item.

Hi jkr. I'm new at this site, so I am just soooo interested! It just seems like lousy weather at all the eagle sites or are my eyes deceiving me

11:43 No sights or sounds of eagles.

Hi! if it is another Teddy Bear it will have to be a World First... "Eagles bring teddy bear to nest 2 seasons in a row"

Should be fun trying to figure out what it is.


llefty, any weather is good weather as long as it's not rain. Nothing is more forlorn than a rain-soaked eagle incubationg eggs or brooding chicks.

Now about this possible second teddy bear.......maybe some poor mom is wondering what keeps happening to her kid's teddy bears after they fall out of the stroller on their walks......or the back door of a teddy bear factory is left ajar and the bears sneak out? Just food for thought since it is not food for food.

One of the eagles just landed in a very windy looking nest and began to arrange the sticks a bit.

I didn't note the time, but the eagle left after a few minutes of working on the nest.
