Well, we met Russian turkeys while away and when they fly they look like a giant eagle. Maybe the adults are related

"squeaky", "squawky", "1/2-hearted", I think we all know the sound being described when we use these descriptions. It's so good to have others who hear and see what we see as individuals, isn't it? Keeps us from thinkng we are imagining things


3:40pm I'm going to go and watch WR for a while now.. OUT

5:15 Parent arrives with big stick.



Moves the stick to 12 o'clock and then digs at center nest.



Then parent moves stick around 3 o'clock, faces 6 o'clock and flies away.

Eagle is back .. moving the leafy branch

Other adult flies in.. both are nestoraing.. unable to see if they are moving a branch or what..

5:24pm
Dad is moving the branch.. that looks like Mom that is watching ..

5:23 Quite a treat. Both parents show up.



One parent is watching the other work, ha. The worker stayed and the other flew away at 6 o'clock.



Then they are both gone again.

5:30 Parent just flew back. Not satisfied with the last branch and decides to move it around when no one is looking.

Quickly flies off at 3 o'clock.

5:26 Parent back for another restoration and then flew off at 12 o'clock. They appear so relaxed and it is so enjoyable to watch them place the sticks with such care.
