Terry this is for you -

It must be like watching paint dry although probably not as interesting when you don't even get a screep or a flyby.
I didn't see either Ma or Pa today when I was out there and not that many other eagles either. They are building a ginormous house on the lot next door so that may have something to do with it.

I confess... as tired as I've been feeling these days, watching this nest is much easier than watching one with lots to report. and If I DO see them it's going to be so sweet!
I came for the eagles, and stayed for the friends I made

So looking forward to seeing this loyal eagle pair! As soon as one of us views them at the nest, we'll post a picture!
By the way, I tried to show introduce these eagles to a friend by showing them the farewell video from 2011. For some strange reason, it won't play. If any of you get a chance, would you try playing it and let me know if you are successful? I'm ready to delete it from YT.

Hi Beans, I was able to click onto your link and the video played fine. Hmmm, wonder what's going on at your end? I found it very difficult to watch but scrolled through and it played to the end.

Beans, it played fine for me -- I'm using Firefox.
Of course the video made me cry all over again.

I'm going to lock this thread and move the posts from the 31st to the 2012 thread, as I think the arrival of an eagle at the nest makes a good point to start the new nesting season.
Link to the thread for the 2012 season is forum/viewtopic.php?showtopic=271527
