This has been a very entertaining past hour with our Delta 2 couple. Recent beaking at each other connected with stick placement. :lol: One on the nest now, sounds like the other is in the tree. Sadly I am out for most of the day now.

One adult just arrived at the nest; have been watching most of the time since my previous observation, and this is the first time I've seen one. He or she has now jumped up into the branches, in the general direction of the cam.

Back down.

Up into the branches on the left of the nest (sort of 10 or 11 o'clock position)

Back down and moved a few more sticks.

Back up to the left - and I think flew over the branches there and away to the perch tree, though there are too many leaves for me to be sure.

Back again - not sure if she(?) brough a stick or is just moving it around. (Or maybe he, now that I've had a look at the head.)

Second one arrives and rearranges the branch - I think it was Mom earlier, now joined by Dad. The one who was there first flew up near the cam. This is the new arrival:

One of them is still perched up somewhere near the cam, and I am seeing his/her shadow - it's the darker area at the right edge of the cam window, almost halfway down - if you compare this with my previous picture, you may be able to see it.



And now I'm out for a while - will try to check back later this afternoon/evening.

So good to see them working together! Thanks for the s'caps and reports all!
