These eagles are real homebodies or so it seems, good to have them back.

I don't post here but do check so thanks to everyone here who does! The zooming rotation doesn't work for me and I hope this isn't what we will have at the new Victoria nest, does anyone know? It would certainly be nice if the cam could be controlled by an interested party at least for part of each day but maybe this is not possible?

Hi! The rotation of the cam from view to view is only switched on during the off season. As soon as the birds are on the nest full time the cam is in a fixed position with a nice close up.

You'd never know it right now with the dull cloudy weather but once there is snow on the mountains and we get some cool, clear late autumn and winter days this camera has some stunning views!

2:42pm no eagles in view as the cam pans around.

3:06pm Adult still on the artificial nest rail and I can't see the other one anywhere around.

3:52pm Adult seems to be trying to dry off a bit.

4:04pm 2nd adult may be very low down on the right side of the tree -- seen only on full tree view if it's actually there
