Mornin' all you Nesters :hello:
Mornin' Bev Yep, this nor'easter gave us a wild night here too - still is. Winds gusting to100 km/hr - supposed to get 80-100 mm of rain too - rain for days. The North Shore is forecasted to get the worst of it - with storm surge and waves of 8-11 meters high - possible heavy flooding and lots of damage to boats, etc. Hope you and I and everyone else stay safe.
Mornin' Debs -time to make the donuts, doncha know.
Cause - drum roll please - it's Timmies time.

Sun’s up in the swamp. And our rascally rooster Roadie - rubbing the sleep from his eyes - just crowed his morning COCK-A-DOODLE-DOOOOOO. :cheerguy: So now, the whole barnyard is awake. He’s early to bed every night – draggin’ his wee blankie – just so he can be up bright and early – and head off with the doggies on their sled.
And now, after donning his woolies – a quick Rooster hug, and off he goes, carrying his wee suitcase under his wing. Awwww – so cute he is.
So Wakey Wakey gang. Doggies all ready to be mushin’ ‘round the globe. Starting at the north pole, they’re headed for all our favorite Nesters. Their sled is always full of Timmies and tea to bump start our day. It’s pipin' hot for all – with lots of muffins, donuts and goodies - and plenty of Iced Capps too for the afternoon. :cheerguy:
Have a grand day, my friends.
Judy

GOOD MORNING EVERYONE
Sorry for not positng very much lately. I have been very busy and very tired and no energy left to do anything. I moved and I am really happy I did. I have fixed the place up a lot and it is starting to look like home and I am quite comfy and so is Munch. He is enjoying the huge windows to lookout of (enjoying all the smells when I am home and open the windows 6 inches or so). This place is on very high and safe grounds from flooding and hurricane attacks. It is solid cement and a long ways from the ocean also. The landlords are great people and lots of fun. Munch enjoys the 14 and 11 year old when they come to play. He sleeps pretty sound after that for sure. They are cat-loving people so they are going to screen the porch in for the "cat". Not for me but for the "cat". The place is small, but has ample room and the bedroom is huge and so is the bathroom. I don't need a large living-eating area as I don't entertain and usually get invited out so not a problem. It is also $450.00 a month cheaper in rent alone and the electric bill for previous tenants has never gone over $135.00. The last place I was paying anywhere from $300-460 a month plus water and at the new place I have water, cable (161 channels) and WiFi free of charge.
I have postponed my trip to Canada this October for many reasons, one of them being that I just dont feel like traveling right now. I was pretty exhausted after all the moving though the Arthritis has not flared much so that was a good sign that the Methatrexate is working well. My grandaughter is coming coming down still on October 30th so I will have more time to spend with her here. I can't wait, we had such fun last year when she was down. She is 20 in December, so growing up really fast. She loves this idea of traveling. I only have one bedroom, but got a fold up - roll-away twin size bed so it will fit in the bedroom. I have the TV set up in there also so will be a relaxing time for sure. She can't wait to see the Dolphins, the turtle farm and the Stingrays again. I am sure Munch will enjoy her company as well.
We have lots of rain lately. Have a cold front right now coming down off the Gulf and the States, which keeps the hurricanes blowing back out to the Atlantic, thank goodness. Will take the cold and the rain any day. I say cold, but it never goes below 86 in the day and 77 at night, but it is a welcome cool from the usual 91-93 degrees at this time of year. Pirates week gets off to full start on the 9th of November so that will be somehting to do with my grandaughter as well for a lot of fun and good food.
I am still so saddened by the situation with the Sidneys. Seems to me these people don't know the law. Them claiming the airspace around the nest, tree and over their property is like people here trying to claim the beach property. It can't be done - it is public property. Oh well, guess David knows best!!!
Well, I do read the posts most every day, and am glad everyone is well.
