Hi Judy
Hurricane Ophelia passed by Nova Scotia this afternoon but was far enough off the coast
that it didn't really cause any problems here except for a lot of rain. There was a bit of a
surf down at Peggy's Cove, but nothing destructive.
It's going to be a little closer to the coast of St. John's, Newfoundland tomorrow morning,
but will be down graded to a Tropical Storm by the time it reaches there.
Here's a couple pictures taken from the webcam at Peggy's Cove this afternoon and this
evening just before sunset. The rain finally stopped around 6:00pm.
Big Hugs

Beautiful Slide Show / Video ((((( LoriLou )))))!
Sounds like you had a great day out & about.
Loved the sky shots, colorful foliage, and critters.
WTG GF!
Now, please git your “snookered” self some rest!
And I hope 'if' you dream...they're sweet!

Saturday -
A super, fantastic, awesome time at the Clockswork Eaglelovers show Ruud and Anna.
Thanks for our start-ups Scott and the bear updates too. That is a sweet pic of Faith grooming. I checked out your Friday's drive pics too, hope to get back there to comment a little later. Sounds like it was a nice afternoon out. Happy to hear Buddy is doing better.
Would be great to have fresh pears, right off the tree.....love them!
Loved the vid of Jo and cub checking out dens.
hi Starr, So happy to hear Joelle Star is home. Keeping you and your family in my thoughts and prayers. So great to see you at the EL show. Very nice collage of Clockswork anniversary show
Beautiful 'Believe' video
hi Jean, Nice to hear your weather is cooling down for you. My Friday nite drop-in was brief, but fun. Pretty Saturday flowers Very nice Thank-you for Anna and Ruud.
hi Judy, cute good morning greet. Nice to hear you had a good family visit with your mom and fun looking thru old pics of your son, comparing them with Jayden.
It was a great Clockswork show, heartwarming. Cute anniversary pics, and Green Gang,
hi Doreen, nice to see you stopping by, great to see you. Sounds like you are as busy as ever
hi Tweets, I had no luck identifying your 'mystery' plant, I did give it a go though. Nice pics from the Tea plantation, interesting to know where it comes from. I don't drink it myself, but do keep teabags on hand.
hi Linda, the Great-crested Flycatcher is a pretty bird, thanks for making it BOTD. That is one I have seen, for the first time this summer. I visited your thread earlier, will be back to comment shortly. I love this time of year too, a little cooler and pretty colors.........but, many of my birds have begun migrating so not as many for me to discover. You always see such a wonderful variety of wildlife on your outings, TY for sharing.
hi Naoma, hope you enjoyed your Friday drive. Nice nostalgic clock, reflection pic and bear hugs
at back scratchers I agree, Gord started it.....funny 'James Gang' memorabilia.
hi Candy, Always frustrating when the forum is misbehaving......I'm never sure whether it's just my computer or the forum it'self.....hope you had better luck later on.
It takes long enough to do the ketchup, I don't bother to proofread, no appologies for mistakes, think we can all read between them.
hi Lori, if you slept that late, you obviously needed it GF. Cool pics of the mini bikes, glad to hear you got out and enjoyed the parade. Great recap of the EA Clockswork Anniversary show It was a great party, with special requests and chat. I could 'feel' you with us. BTW, my request was "Good People" by Great Big Sea.
Great job putting Nanc's outing in a vid
hi Annie, happy to hear you are getting cooler weather too....Oh so pretty sunset pics Nice Thank-you for Anna and Ruud and Nesties too, very special show for sure.
hi Lance, Very cute EA Clockswork Anniversary pic
hi Bev, nice of you to drop by with beautiful flowers and congrats on the 2nd anniversary of EL show. Wish you could have joined us too ......a great time had by all. I have dibs on the pineapple from that fruit basket.
hi Anna, very nice pics of the dew kissed spider webs, and yes, fullscreen even more beautiful. Isn't it neat to discover the beauty after you've taken the pic? nice surprise. Love your recap of visit to the beach with Brigitte. Lovely pics, breath taking sunset shots and oh so cute relaxedBrigitte.
hi Nanc, Nice outing you had, loved the soaring eagle hissing heron and osprey...and anhinga? not sure what it was, but it was a beautiful pic. Chat at the show was definately fast and furious, but that made it even more hilarious Sometimes confusion can be a good thing.
hi elle, So sorry to hear you aren't feeling well. I think Panda has picked a new owner Sounds like you have a good plan, back to bed and a little more rest. I love your avatar.
hi Gord, I agree, it is almost impossible to keep up with everything at the show sometimes. Beautiful sentiments and music choices I'm not sure if I remember what I said........think I wrote it down....I'll have a look for it.
I cannot believe how long it took me to ketchup just one day..............course, I have been watching TV, and videos, giving the kitties treats ........
I had planned to do notes for today too........but, it's time for a coffee and birthday cupcake I brought home from the party.
Hope all are having a good evening.
