Hi Judy
Hurricane Ophelia passed by Nova Scotia this afternoon but was far enough off the coast
that it didn't really cause any problems here except for a lot of rain. There was a bit of a
surf down at Peggy's Cove, but nothing destructive.
It's going to be a little closer to the coast of St. John's, Newfoundland tomorrow morning,
but will be down graded to a Tropical Storm by the time it reaches there.

Here's a couple pictures taken from the webcam at Peggy's Cove this afternoon and this
evening just before sunset. The rain finally stopped around 6:00pm.
Big Hugs
Rose

hi Tweets, I had no luck identifying your 'mystery' plant, I did give it a go though. Nodding Nice pics from the Tea plantation, interesting to know where it comes from. I don't drink it myself, but do keep teabags on hand.

hi Linda, the Great-crested Flycatcher is a pretty bird, thanks for making it BOTD. That is one I have seen, for the first time this summer. I visited your thread earlier, will be back to comment shortly. I love this time of year too, a little cooler and pretty colors.........but, many of my birds have begun migrating so not as many for me to discover. You always see such a wonderful variety of wildlife on your outings, TY for sharing. hug

Rosey Peggy's Cove.......what a heartfull of lovely coastline. Red Heart

(((Scott)))........
I would feel honored to be a wise bass owl in your eyes. Smile
Wonderful vid of Lilly & Faith. Still hard to see & feel Hope's empty spot in the family. I can only try to imagine how they feel without her. sad

Jean........excuse me if you've said before, but what part of the Guadalupe do you love best?

I am so sorry to read that some people's grief has turned to anger that is a detriment to bear research. So much grief; so little logic. sad

LoriLou.........
except for the fall colors, your place could be my place...........so far apart, yet as mother earth goes, so alike. AMAZING........the trees, some hills, the moon, too; clouds make the sunset.. Red Heart
