Stu still soggy, laying in nest bowl, I'm out for now. Oops, he just sat up, hope he's not chilled.

Tuned in around 1:30 pm, Stu was centre front, rain had stopped but the wind still up and the nest was rocking. After preening and a p.s. he settled in the nest. Dad flew in from the left and Stu got up and went to him. Dad then dug up what looked like a few remains of a gull, but rather than feed the expectant Stu, he flew off at 1:55 pm. Then at
2:01 Mom came in from the same direction, she had the little bit of bird with her and after a few minutes started
feeding her hungry 'let. At 2:08 Dad returned from the right and crossed the nest and left with the "scraps", except for a thin bone which Mom picked up. She did not look impressed (jmo) and flew out after him.

Stu was left looking after them, then down where the small nestovers were. Settling down again seemed like the best option.

At 2:48 pm Stu is still centre front, preening a bit and looking up and around. There is still plenty of daylight and time for a nice fat fish to come in. Wonder if the stormy weather has affected the fishing. Puzzled

3:20pm... S2 alone, up and stretching, very windy day at the nest....makes me nervous watching him totter around with the nest swaying like it is Oh My

3:21... Healthy looking PS and now preening....

5:05... Status quo on the nest...nothing happening...

5:46... S2 laying down in bowl, I've been in and out for the last half hour or so...don't know if a parent has been around or not:dunno:

It's going to be light an hour longer now in Sydney with the time change...all's good!

5:50.... Parent on the nest with food! Red stuff, don't know what but probably mammal or bird....S2 standing up big and tall and eagerly accepting the food offered to him!

5:57... Feeding ongoing!
