Sorry for the short notice but Global TV was out at OWL today and I'm told the story is going to be broadcast on tonight's News Hour at 6 pm. We did a release of a juvie for the story and Judy (JKR) I'm told you had something to do with finding the bird. It was brought in from Jaffray last June, young and emaciated, apparently having fallen out of it's nest. The decision was made to release it here because it's a little warmer and there's plenty of other eagles to keep it company, not to mention lots of food.
I will post the link later tonight from their website for those that missed it or were unable to watch.

Here is the link to the News Hour story; it's about several wildlife rehab facilities in the Metro Vancouver area, not just OWL. There is a commercial at the beginning and the eagle release is at the end

As much as I would have loved to have been part of the rescue it wasn't me who found him. I do know there is a lady living in Jaffray that does rescues but offhand I don't recall her name. I hope she saw the release on the news.

I'm definitely happy that he is now in good health and released. That is good news Left thumb up
