Well here is today's excitement

I have been to Saxe Point every day since Aug 26 but have not seen eagles Imagine my excitement today when I heard a murder of crows creating - thought for sure there were eagles around but they were harrassing a great horned owl

No, SassyK, no pictures - I did not take my camera and anyway this is not the site to post pictures of owls. I will take the camera tomorrow because the last time I saw an owl at Saxe Point it stuck around for a couple of weeks That was a couple of years ago and I have pictures of that one.

Karen, if you happen to see the owl again and get some pics of it, there is a thread I have created for pics of wildlife seen on trails, in parks and natural areas; just click the link in my signature. There are also other threads specifically for owls. I might have some time to go to the park tomorrow and I'll have my camera with me because we are going to Esq. Lagoon tomorrow morning.

ETA: I did go to the park last Sunday after going to the lagoon but did not see the owl

Went looking for the Great Horned Owl at the park yesterday but no such luck. No eagles either.
