Have fun at the P.N.E. Darlene, bet it's going to be reeeeallly busy there today.

I'll keep the Delta2 cam for a bit. The little neighbors are scrounging around the nest at the moment.

Click on image to download MARVELOUS MONDAY, AUNTIES!

Well, we are heading for the States for the third day this weekend (will explain that some other time) but thought you might enjoy this Owl video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SAz1L8DlvBM. You can pretend it is the Owl that used to keep Jet company after Oreo left the nest. This is an amazing video.....all I could think of was a plane coming in for a landing....and check out the aerodynamics!!

An Eagle Owl, landing on a branch, filmed at 1000 frames per second – beautiful!

Hope you enjoy!

Hi Aunties!

Happy Holiday and happy day......

Raining, thanks for the video which will be watched later. Have a nice trip to the States. Wow, just watched it - amazing! Owls are gorgeous. There is one in a tree behind my house somewhere that we sometimes hear and I love the sound.

All y'all so good to see your posts, you are awesome. I do wonder which eagle that was on the nest?

Sandra that was an amazing catch at the Delta2 nest! Wonder who Don't Know

We spotted two eagles on our way through to the States today. They were soaring the highway looking for food. Yesterday the nest looked pretty empty but today they were flying in the area. Had I known I think I would have delivered a couple of salmon to them today.

Some of our maples are turning red already. Boy it is early this year! I hate to think what this could mean.

Hey Raining Hello, thanks for the video. Amazing how some videos go viral, I received that one a couple of days ago. Incredible coverage, almost looks like the OWL has little pads under it's toes. The feet were just a little Wooh as it was about to land.

Heading to the States for the 3rd time Don't PanicDon't Panic, hope you're not having to spend too much time in the border line-ups. I'm hearing on the radio the 3 crossings close to Vancouver are "nuts" right now.

Carolyn, I wonder who the eagle was as well but maybe JudyB is right in suggesting that it was one passing through and needed a little rest. I'd like to think it was Mom or Pop Delta2 though Wub.

Okay, does anyone else see the face Wooh Titter ?

Had the cam up for awhile, have not seen or heard anyone around the nest, just the pop pop pop.

Hi Sandra....I see the face too. It stretches the imagination but it is there. I agree that it could have been a passing through eagle taking a break.

Raining, amazing that your maples are already turning! Could be interesting to see how early your colors are this year.

Just a quick plop to say Hi - smiles to my friend Aunties......
