Woodlands Bleu

Arlene, love your pictures!

Bleu's walk was lovely........we saw.......
paths with tall trees over them and leaves on the ground
a drainage ditch (pretty) with flowers around and herons and egrets therein fishing
turtles on rocks
a small green heron (my favorite)
a family fishing in the small lake we passed
tall pine trees and pine needles on the ground
a wagging tail and happy dog
pretty clouds and a beautiful cobalt bleu sky
bikers (bikes not motorcycles) passing us by and saying hi
and many smiles........
see you next plop, most likely tomorrow......

On the way home yesterday as I was driving up my street there was a baby flicker having a dust bath in a neighbour's driveway.

I got this shot out the window of the car

Great shot - what kind of camera do you have - looking into finally buying a DSLR - not too expensive though. Lana

Arlene, looks like a neat trip you had in Edmonton, the church/cathedral in the distance is something to behold with grassland all around. Carolyn, it sounds like you and Bleu had the perfect walk. Ilh- a new camera would be funVery Happy Here is the Aperseidmeteor shower last night as seen over Stonehenge in England Click on image to download

Blessings to my EWF........as your prayers for texas were answered today. Jean's place as well as mine awoke to the sweet sounds & smell of blessings of rain from heaven. I hope the Woodlands got some, too. Nodding

No rain here EWF, however, it was breezy and cloudy for our walk, which was delightful. Still very hot, but it felt a lot better. I am thrilled North Texas got some rain blessings and jas I do attribute it to you.

It's been a good day as I watched my grandson a whole bunch and we did a lot of imaginary things that were a hoot. And he got to play in the gorgeous indoor playground at my church which has a huge upstairs maze (I have not been up to see it, but he has) with all sorts of neat stuff. Of course Bleu got to leap and swim late this afternoon and I swam in the shade of that time of day. We have a frog that spits out water and it cools the pool is a sweet manner.

Blessings of rain to North Texas (my son is in Plano, would it have gotten it too?). Hugs to all y'all,
carolyn

Carolyn, I'm sorry there wasn't rain in your neck of the woods of Texas
Well I guess then I wasn't specific enough in my prayers, let me try again

Whatever powers that might be
Please rain down on Bleus Texas too
She too would delight in the sounds
of a pitter patter liquid gold for her and dog Bleu
For they've jumped in the lakes to have some fun
Hows about some puddles to run
They are grateful they are
These Texan souls
A week of pure rain would delight these friends I've got
Please God if we could have another prayer
I pray for rain for all of Texas and Africa tooWooh

My dear friends good night
I wish for more rain with all my might
Followed by prayers and some sleep
May the morning be filled with puddles so deep
