Golly, I see it too! A guy in a white shirt almost like Bob the builder Lego, in the tree. Are we all over tired?

Raining, bravo! You did it, you did it! Did you get to the beach? Did you swim for me? Did I enjoy it?

Hi Terry, stim, Raining and Skyclan (I got all y'all right? Sure hope so).......
see you tomorrow or thereabouts, (oh Raining, often I can start wearing jeans in October and hopefully this year will be that way).

Thanks Aunties. Tonight I learned how to black and white a photo and to erase some imperfections. What fun!

No swimming today Woodlands Bleu. It RAINED almost all day. Fog yesterday afternoon and rain today and looks like several days. Woe is me. Tomorrow afternoon I head out of town so maybe it won't rain there fingers crossed

You made me laugh AGAIN newbiE Titter

I will go for my recess break now Darlene.

Skyclan, Woodlands and Terry I think we need to call the Ghostbusters Whistling

I don't know where the night went but it looks like bedtime.

:Good night

Hey Raining, if you figure out where the night went tell me. Maybe we should put a tracking device on it so we can locate it wherever it is hiding?

Gee, I missed out on my cool swim up in Canada.......no fair! Good Night Aunties.......

OMG Aunties I am so excited I needed to share.

I was determined to figure this out. Mind you, I really have not figured out that much but LOOK what I managed to do. I know it is not the perfect clip art and I will work on my artistic nature (not) but I DID IT. YAY and all because of Jet and the aunties.

Oh, and it only took me about 15 minutes to do it. Does that mean I can have recess now?

You can have double recess Raining. I can't even do that. To be fair though I am not especially inclined to learn either. I prefer to enjoy the talents of others.

This is the time to learn new things in a leisurely manner. there is no pressure... just lots of time and lots of supportive Aunties to cheersCheers

GOOD MONDAY MORNING AUNTIES

I had to share this one. It puts me into fits of laughter every time I read it. Rolling on floor laughing

I have a holiday today but I will be without power beginning at 8:30 a.m. and likely until 6:00 p.m. while we have electrical upgrades done. I charged up my laptop but that may not do me any good unless I can "borrow" Twisted a neighbour's wireless signal.

We have aluminum wiring in our house (built 1975) and the insurance companies have suddenly decided that all electrical connections must have copper pigtails added to them. I checked with the electrical inspectors, electricians and hydro and our electrical is 100% up to code. It's ONLY THE INSURANCE COMPANIES that have come up with the stupid idea. To say I'm ticked off it stating it mildly because it's going to cost us lots of $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ !!!!
The only thing that makes me feel a bit better is knowing that 20% of the houses in the city to have the same thing done.

Keeping my fingers crossed that they can do the work here in one day.

Good morning! Lovely "gone fishing" sign, Raining - and great cartoon, jkr!

On to business....

Double Your Donation!

One of our long-time members has offered to match up to $1000 in donations made between now and midnight today, Monday, August 8th - so if you've been thinking about making a donation - now's the time to do it!

David really needs to know how much money is available so he can make the hard choices as to which cams will be upgraded and which will just get a cleaning and a bit of routine maintenance - and with this matching challenge, there's never been a better time to support the cams.

As of August 7, we've received $4,295 - which is great, but we've got a long way to go. It will cost around $12,000 to get a good pan-tilt-zoom cam at Sidney - and we also want to at least clean, repair and do routine maintenance on all the other cams.

You can donate now with CanadaHelps or PayPal, or call Hancock Wildlife later this morning when the office opens (toll free in Canada and the United States) - click here for details on these and other easy ways to donate.

White Rock

We wish all our nests had cams as spectacular as White Rock's - and we need your help to do that.

Please give what you can, and a little bit more.

Thank you. love
