I spent a couple of hours in Beacon Hill Park this morning and the eaget was perched at the top of the tree next to the nest tree when I arrived. A while later when I was watching the herons, the eaglet flew over the trees and across the lake with a few seagulls hot on its tail. Here are a few pics of the eaglet in the tree. In the 3rd pic, the nest is on the right, and the eaglet is on the top left of the adjacent tree. Click pics bigger.

On Friday, Oct 14, one adult eagle was seen sitting atop the totem pole in BHP.
Another season underway!
