All is quiet at the White Rock nest right now so I thought I would come over and see who is here and leave a post.

This is a black-headed grosbeak that was at my feeder yesterday.

I put the feeder out in the morning and take it in at night, otherwise I have young bears visit in the night for food.

I love to have the birds around and couldn't put out a feeder for many years because we had a cat (not fair to the birds).

There is a neibourhood cat but she generally stays away because of the dog and dog smell in the back.

Sandy, I don't post year due to safety issues on the internet. Also, I do not put family photos on, but will send by email sometimes.

Bleu and I had an incredible nursing home visit today. We saw all of our friends, giggled a lot (me), wagged our tails (her) and left having seen almost 50 people! The most fun was the Occupational Therapy room where we went from person to person, introducing ourselves and Bleu getting a ton of love. She is always happy to go there and always leaves with a huge grin of gold.

It's fun to see all you wonderful people coming in one by one. While I did not post at White Rock, I was a chronic lurker.

OMG Mo........how sweet they are! The kitten on the bottom right looks just like my Sweetie who I lost a couple of years ago. I still miss him so much. Mama kitty, well all of them, are just darling.

I know than when you meet your future DIL, you will love her just because Yannick does!

I'm very happy you will do our opening day post BUT you have to do it on our time. We're still trying to get through Wednesday. Also, please make all of it in bold type and use either green or blue for color.
