Here is our Harley who left us in December 2010 and he is still so very missed. I did the drawing in graphite of Harley in 2009 when he started to get sick.
RIP, Harley, sure he is playing right now with Champy
by Henry Van Dyke - 1852 - 1933
I am standing by the seashore.
A ship at my side spreads her white sails to the morning breeze
and starts for the blue ocean.
She is an object of beauty and strength,
and I stand and watch
until at last she hangs like a peck of white cloud
just where the sun and sky come down to mingle with each other.
Then someone at my side says, 'There she goes!
Gone where? Gone from my sight - that is all.
She is just as large in mast and hull and spar
as she was when she left my side
and just as able to bear her load of living freight
to the places of destination.
Her diminished size is in me, not in her.
And just at the moment when someone at my side says,
'There she goes! ' ,
there are other eyes watching her coming,
and other voices ready to take up the glad shout :
'Here she comes!'
Mo that is so very beautiful and I am teary again!!!!
I am positive he is playing with Champy!!!
I loved reading about your pets and a survivor!!!!
This poem has another meaning for me as I am Navy to my soul and love the tall ships!
Congratulations on your son's coming wedding too. I suspect it is getting late there!!! Have a wonderful sleep!

Hello from my human Vivia! She can't chat because she has to walk me and then give me something called a "baath" ? She said it would be fun, but I don't know. I can read her pretty well. I am much prettier than she is, so I will post my picture.

Luna - a wonderful hello to you.
Baths can be fun and my pup and I sometimes shower together.
As long as I make sure that the shower doesn't get on her head she loves it and since I have a hand shower attachment it is easy to wash off the soap.
I think you will have a wonderful time in your bath. You will have to come back and tell us about it.
Got to go - Charlie is back
