Ma and Pa are up on the perch/artificial tree...they spend time together there everyday now watching their brood from just above. A lot of havock in the neighborhood this morning...gulls screeching their warnings...crows cawing as loud as they can. Ma or Pa must be on the hunt...two babies are big enough now that they're visible from the ground...on occasions when stretching or fanning out wings...they are growing fast...off to watch the cam....bd.

Stopped off at the Lafarge nest today and took a few pics. I wish they were better but the nest is so far away and I couldn't crop the pics anymore without compromising the quality worse than it is! Here are a few I managed to slavage.

Wonderful pictures - thanks, gemini! I especially like the third one - it gives a sense of how far Sharp-Eye had to go to join the adult on the artificial nest's perch! And good to see a different perspective on the eaglets' favorite branches!

And I missed your pictures earlier, Judy - they are great! Nice to see where Mom hangs out when we see her off to the side! I have trouble getting a sense of perspective, and how far the branches are from each other when I only see them on the cam.

Hi guys,

Here are the best I have with both eaglets in the shot. My new camera has more zoom but you have to lower the size of the pics to 5 mgp and that means I can't crop as much. So for what it is worth here they are. Sorry they are both covered with leaves!

Here are some shots of the one at the lower level. You can see she has moved from one branch to another.
Again I apologize for the blurriness. I am really pushing my camera to the limits!!

One adult was perched out of sight on the tower when the first two pics were taken and the last pic was taken after it returned to the nest tree.

Thanks so much for going over to check on them, gemini! Nice to see what was happening from a different perspective.
