June 5th ~ Beacon Hill Park

There are quite a few heron pairs who have chicks in their nests. You can see at chick in front of the adult's feet in the 1st pic, and there are chicks in the nest in the 2nd pic. There was a lot of squawking going on just before I snapped the 3rd pic, just after an adult had landed in the tree near the nest. Click bigger.

Beacon Hill Park ~ June 11th
