This feeding was at 7:00 am nest time. C2 didn't get one bite, there was more fish to feed, but the female returned to brood. I had to record X2 to fit my 5 min. limit.

Thanks Jazzel.
I've been rather busy at Delta2 --- we have a chick off the nest and OWL was called to do a rescue. We're waiting for an update from them.

Our Delta2 chick has been rescued and is doing fine. He is now in OWL's care.

Dad brought in some huge weed to the nest.

Mom is not happy with the weed and is moving it around the nest.

No idea what she thinks she is doing with it but she now has it closer to the chicks.

Dad flew off and Mom is still contending with the weed.

The weed is not moved very far from the bowl but she's now settled in to brood.

Mom was up again and flew off. She certainly does leave these chicks alone more than she should.

It's a bit early for me to concentrate on the computer, but I have the O's up and as I looked over at the computer, I caught this image and had to post it.

The Egg is still in the half shell - Does look weird. The half shell must really be wedged on to stay on there for three+ days. Hope it doesn't cause any hatching problems. I saw Mom looking at the egg a bit ago so maybe there is some inner activity.

Good morning BET. I was sure I saw the egg wobble awhile ago but it was hard to tell for sure with the chicks squirming around as well.
