Sorry to hear they lost two chicks :cry1:
It's always so sad to read that kind of news.
At least the existing two appear healthy.

I think I accidentally created a bit of confusion. There were only ever three chicks at Dunedin, one of which has died. Sad

As part of the discussion about the color of the youngest Dunedin chick, I posted a comparison pic from a different nest where there were four chicks. Sorry about the confusion.

And it is good to see the remaining chicks looking strong. Smile

Judy, I don't know where the confusion is, your posted pic comparing chicks is very clear, not the the same nest. Nowhere does any post, on any forum, or the Dunedin Cam site say that nest had four chicks.

Maybe someone is missing part of the discussionPuzzled

And the remaining two are looking strong todayGrin

I received this news from Barb Walker at the cam site.

"We are banding Thursday morning at 10am. I'll let you know if it changes for any reason."

Barb

They'll be leaving the cam on so viewers will be able to see the nestlings taken out of the nest and returnedGrin

These pics are from this morning

soph, you're welcomeGrin I'm sure they will have lots of banding photos posted on their home page, and they are hoping to have a video with a Youtube link.
