Grin Hi Sue, Donna, mmud, and Everyone,

Having fun watching the videos. Cannot imagine what it is going to be like when all 4 start flapping; interesting, to say the least.

There was a horrible, horrible wind last night. I think Mom eagle spent the entire night in the nest with the kids. She was there last night when it got dark and there at the crack of dawn. Once it got light, she took off. I was worried with these very unsteady babies that one might have been blown out of the nest. I finally spotted all four babies this morning.

The two bigger ones seemed brave enough to climb to the edge of the nest near the trunk for a few minutes. I suspect the trunk makes them feel more secure. They are extremely clumsy. Everybody hunkered back down to sleep and wait for breakfast.

Hi Sue! Must have been quite the tense night for you wondering how the eaglets were doing with the high winds..... Glad they're all OK Smile

Lots of bobbing up and down today. Enough to confirm that all four chicks are there. I was unable to capture anything on camera. The wind has died down thankfully.

Yes, very sad on the Sidney nest. These birds are a joy to watch and easy to grow to love. I hope to have more video tomorrow showing four chicks. They didn't get much food brought to the nest today. They'll be hungry tomorrow.
