I finally caught this cam working...have a bunch of scaps between 6:45 and 8:40 PM EDT.

All three little chicks are in a triangle. The oldest one is looking towards Dad and you can see her little foot.

The oldest is using her wings to try to get out of the bowl...she is headed for Dad!!

Really tiny wings on who I think is the youngest...hard to tell.

Wonderful s'caps, Mary - really show the difference in wing sizes that go with the different body sizes! Must admit I can't tell #2 and #3 apart. I did see a bit of a pecking match this afternoon - and expect it was the slightly older one who won - but unless someone wanders in with some droppers of vegetable dye, I have no clue how we can tell them apart.

I've generally found that the cam usually is back online within a half hour or so during daylight hours - except on Tuesdays, which is indeed the day that they don't have someone on site lined up to reboot the system when it goes down.

They are very cute little ones - and it is need to see the them mostly getting along, in spite of the huge difference in size at this age.

#2 looking right up at Dad. You can see her sweet little face,

Mom came flying in with food. I guess this nest is quite a bit up off the ground. Earlier I saw an eagle running --yes-- running by on the ground below the nest but wasn't fast enough to get a scap....slow old fingers!

#2? jumped right up and started to eat. She got some nice bites while nobody else was paying attention. You can see #1's legs are up in the air. She is sort of stuck from when she was trying to get out of the bowl. She fell backwards on her little butt with legs and feet up.

#2 has a large crop and #1 is finally eating
