Hi everyone, we're going to get started on the HWF calendar earlier this year so David has asked us to post the following:

Details & Rules for Contributors:

a. Cost: $9.95 + shipping & handling: $4.95 = $14.90

b. Volume Discount: Buy 5 calendars for $34.90 including s&h..

c. Your orders are wanted immediately BUT full payment is not to be made until we send the calendar to the printer in August at which time we will email customer for the CC number and confirmation.

d. Any donations over the $34.90 will be given a Tax Receipt.

Please include the information in the email also and we will get back to you on such volume purchases. We would be pleased to offer these at about $3.50 for 1000 copies or down to about $2.55 for 5000 copies.


CALENDAR NEEDS AND SUBMISSION GUIDELINES:

Date for submitting the images: immediately through July 31.

Pictures Needed: any bald eagle images from any of the nest cams or shots taken of eagles by our Content Providers. The judges selection will be final. We will hopefully cover all our cams and our Content Providers favored sites to depict the eagles life history.

Image Needs: the 13 large monthly images must be high resolution shots. Generally 300dpi at 8x10 or higher - we may have to crop in - so the bigger, the better. If you're unsure of how it all works, then please just set your camera to take the biggest possible picture. Bring extra camera cards with you as these large res shots will take up a lot more space.

The hundreds of little images throughout the 'blank daily slots in each month' can be lower resolution or even screen shots.

The Non-exclusive-World Copyright is needed by HWF: Images to be sent only on the understanding that the Hancock Wildlife Foundation may use them in the calendar and promotions free of charge. We will give the photographers credits but not payment for their use. The 13 key shots will also earn the photographer a free calendar.

Last year we used images that were indicative of what was going on in general for each month.
Like nest building, egg laying, etc. So please keep that in mind when submitting images.

If we submit s'caps from White Rock for the little daily slots, do you want us to crop them so they're square, or would you rather have the full picture so you can crop it as needed? Thanks!

Hi Judy, the full picture would be better, then I'll crop to fit the space they'll go. There are different sizes, depending on the image and the number we get.
