The Latvian Couple we watched last year, Gints and Grieta - have not yet both returned!
Only Grieta has visited!
Fortunately - the research institute had put a camera in another nest!
The address is: mms://video1.lanet.lv/ligzda - and it opens in Windows Media Player or similar!
Looduskalender website:

Vainamoinen reported in to the Looduskalender forum:
Information from Latvian forum. The names of eagles are Metra (pronunciation Meetra) and Madis. Word Metra is derived from Metriena, name of neighboring village.
The couple have been busy - and laid their first egg on Apr 27th
Some beautiful bird song can be heard in the background of this nest!
Be aware that these birds practise Cainism - or Siblicide!

I would rather spend my life close to the birds than wishing I had wings
