April 16, 2011 - Lucy and Larry keep coming to the nest together. Lucy is showing some signs of an expecting mother, but we do not know. An immature eagle showed up this evening? All we can do is wait. We are not giving up!


But the nest is quite empty at the moment!

I suppose it could still happen....though it seems pretty late in the season. I do not see an egg cup prepared and that makes me think maybe not........and thinking that may just make it all happen next week. lol..

I was so hoping to watch this with the kids.

Me too, Donna and it is a beautiful cam! They have made and un-made the nest bowl here countless times. Either not satisfied or not ready to use it I guess. Who can ever tell what is on an eagle's mind? :huh:

April 19, 2011 - Lucy and Larry are still visiting the nest together. They were in this evening clearing out the snow and fixing up the egg bowl All we can do is wait and hope. We are not giving up!

The 4kids cam is up and running again. Lucy and Larry have been to the nest quite a bit. It's awfully late but the kids behind this project are still hopeful.

It's raining and the nest is empty. I'm sure all the kids are very disappointed but I think they will probably have to wait til next year for eaglets.
