Judy, both cams are now okay, after I refresh 3 times.

What shall I do in the future if I have a problem, for me it is the most normal place to post here ?

In general, we don't have any control over what the delay is once it leaves our encoders. As an aside - I believe WildEarth is using Amazon's "EC2 Cloud" platform for the distribution systems and one of the Amazon facilities is "not working very well" today - so some people may be experiencing delays due to that. The problem is - "Cloud" means "we don't really know what computers (or where they are) our stuff runs on - it just runs"

Richard I just about had a heart attack cause there's a maniac in control of the zoom on the Decorah nest and I can't even watch it as a result...like trying to watch a show in a room with a guy who has a remote in his hand...NOT! Wooh

I've tried to keep the zooming around to a minimum - the image is already zoomed in quite a bit on the nest - and the results are great IMHO - was just trying to get a temporarily better view of our chick there. Looks healthy to me but I have not yet seen a feeding.

I'm watching the cams via the editing system - remote control from Pitt Meadows to Zero Ave - and switching things as "interesting" things happen on the Ustream feed on the front page. Only have about 30 viewers at the moment but I'm also grabbing file-saves of some stuff for later use too.

chick has been fed it's fine... and thank you!!! for keeping your 'messing around' to a minimum! Nothing worse than being all lined up to get something and it moves!

for your records and I'm outta here Out

From my perspective, the best place to report a problem with the cameras is the "Report Cams Down" thread - I can't speak for anyone else, but I'm more likely to check that thread than this one if I only have a few minutes break at work. Link is forum/viewtopic.php?showtopic=473

8:26PM OK again my 'browse' button isn't working...I can't post a s'cap, and when I try to scroll anywhere here, it's jumping and flashing again.

ETA...

It only took about 30 minutes for the forum to straighten itself out this time. Everything seems to be working normally again.

9:05PM OK, the forum is back to flashing when I scroll. I haven't tried posting a s'cap this time.

Also, when I refreshed the index, I got that whole black and white page of gobbledy gook and instead of going back to the index, it took me to White Rock.
