Great video Kay....at about the 1:01 mark, you can see what appears to be another chick behind the one in front...
ETA: it was more around the 1:05 mark in the video!

I've been watching for the past 5 min or so and have only seen one little bobblehead wiggling under Mom.
The eaglet appears very active.
Mom is nestorating in front of the chick.
Little sparrows being very nervy and getting close to Mom.

Hey Tuckerfan :hello:, I think I agree with you. It certainly looks like another tiny set of dark eyes

CTV did a short news article on Delta eagles last night. Not sure if anyone caught it. Here is the link to the pictures

A bald eagle family in Delta, B.C. has a new addition, and its birth was an instant internet sensation.
Thousands of people tuned in online Monday as one of two eggs in the nest hatched.
The same nest welcomed two eaglets last year.
Read the rest of the story and see the photo online at the above hot link.

Hi gd. Great that you got a good shot. They have about three entrances on the camera side and I have seen them fly out the other side of the 'basement' nest as well. We are sure that eagles, with their good hearing, must know the sparrows are there, and we keep seeing the eagle on the nest gesture at them to stay distant from the bowl. We have visions of the basement residents creating quite the entertainment for the eaglets once the parents are off hunting for food a lot. We are also thinking of making bets on how many are going to end up being dinner for the penthouse crowd.
