Before 6:30 am,
Dad arrives with a branch. The branch goes over Mom's tail feathers and her right wing. She moves it.


They stayed on the nest together quite a while then Dad started arranging his branch. Again, Mom got whacked with the branch so she left the nest at about 6:38 am.

Mom's on the nest by herself.

Great job JudyB and CAL ! Thanks for the pics & videos. I've been checking in frequently but have not had the time to write.

One osprey is on the nest now (1:20pm) and lots of debris is floating in the water behind the nest. I know they had a hail storm in the lakes region this morning so it could be from that storm.

Mom is being "Chatty Cathy" again.

Mom has been digging the nest cup; she's got it deep already.

Just after 4:00 pm,
Looks like we might have one.


Dad came in with a fish; Mom grabbed it and left the nest immediately. Dad looked around a bit then also left the nest.

Not sure what to think. Something white dropped in the nest cup. Mom got all excited; Dad brought a fish but there's nobody home.
