nice collage debs and nice photos lonette

i hope the eggy wegs hatch this week. it is very difficult to tell if that is a pip [what is a pip anyway?] on the egg unless you can magnify it.

I'm certain that Blackwater explains it better than I could (5th paragraph on the page). Smile In short, the chick used it's egg tooth to punch or "pip" a whole in the egg shell.

Looks like it may be snowing? Hope it doesn't snow too much. Egg hatching day is very close. I'm trying to remember, but I think one of the wee ones was born while the nest was filled with snow last year.Puzzled
