I was thinking about them this morning. Is the cam functioning yet? Will she be a Mom instead of a trophy wife this year? She has competition in that category from the Maine #1 DivaLaugh

The cam is on line. I have no idea how this season will end...or start...there's a lot of osprey action in Woods Hole... I used your pic of the four eggs on the WHOI Cam blog, it was better than mineWubfor the end of the year wrap-up, gave you, of course, full credit. Thanks for watching...takes a lot of eyes when things get strange...2010 was very strangeFaint I was in Woods Hole observing nests when they returned. I did have the cam recording while I was out...I'll go over that tonight..I do know the male is the resident. I need to check the female, but they knew each other....hug

There's not a button for embedding YouTube videos the way we can on the Maine forum - but you can use the URL button and post the link and it will show up as text; you can also use a "posh" link to either have a title or an image as the clickable link. And we have several smileys you can use to indicate that the link is to a video. Video Camera :movie: :film:

More details on posh links (and lots of other things) in the Helpful Hints thread.

And wonderful news that the male is back! Now if the female shows up - and not to many other osprey show up - perhaps they can have a regular nesting season this year!
